Privacy Notice

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. We hope your visit is a pleasant and problem-free one.

You can enter your personal information on the “Contact” page of our website. This data is collected solely for the purpose of processing and documenting your enquiry. Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the processing of your enquiry. We will not disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

In addition, our internet service provider collects certain data in so-called log files during your visit to our website. The data so collected consists of the name of your internet service provider, your IP address, the website from where you accessed our website, the pages you visit within our website as well as date, time and duration of your visit. This data is collected for statistical purposes only. We will not relate this data to any specific person.

This website uses cookies, which store data on your computer during your visit to our website. These cookies store data that optimise the display of web pages and create a more enjoyable surfing experience. We do no analyse this data. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by using the relevant privacy settings in your web browser.

Use of buttons with links to social networks

Our website contains buttons with links to our presence on the social networks Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing and LinkedIn. These buttons do not transmit data to any of these social networks. Only once you have clicked on these buttons, will you leave our website. You will then be redirected to our presence on the selected social network. You will then no longer be on our website but on the web pages of the social network you selected. Depending on your settings, your browser or the social network will collect your personal data. The terms and conditions of such data collection are set out in the privacy statements of the selected social network. We cannot assume any responsibility for such data collection.

We have opted not to use Facebook’s “Like” buttons on our website, as these buttons would collect data about you before you even click on the button. However, if you would like to use this technology to express your appreciation, we would of course be delighted. For this purpose, you simply click on our button with the link to Facebook. On our Facebook fan page, you will find a “Like” button.

For data privacy reasons, we do not integrate social media scripts on our web pages, as the social networks use tracking methods that run in the background. We are, of course, thrilled if you like articles in our blog and would like to share them on social media. For this purpose, we have included “Share” buttons for Twitter, Facebook and Google+. When you click on these buttons, you will see a message that social media is loading data analysis scripts in the background to capture user behaviour. The relevant scripts will only be uploaded and the article shared, if you agree.

Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files that are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US where it is stored.

Please note that our website uses a Google Analytics code extension called “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure the anonymised capture of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). This means that Google will shorten your IP address within the member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the Treaty of the European Economic Area. Only as an exception will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and then shortened.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile website activity reports and to provide additional services to the website provider that are associated with the use of the website and the internet. Your IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be linked with any other Google data. You can prevent the storing of cookies by setting your browser to reject cookies. However, in that case you may find that you are not able to use all the functionalities on this website to their fullest extent.

Moreover, you can prevent the capture of any data generated by cookies and relating to your use of this website (including your IP address), and the processing of any such data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can prevent data capture by Google Analytics by clicking on the green “Analytics settings” button. Thereafter, you can choose whether you wish to deactivate Google Analytics or permit it either permanently or on a one-off basis. If you deactivate Google Analytics via this plugin, an opt-out cookie will be placed that prevents the capture of your data whenever you visit this website in the future.

For further information regarding conditions of use and data protection, please visit  www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.
